Aly Harris BDS 1982, DPDS – Principal Dentist.

studied dentistry at Kings College, London. She owned a private practice in London for 17 years before moving to Wiltshire. Aly has a special interest in looking after anxious patients and is a trained sedationist. She has a Certificate in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from University College London and a Diploma in Dental Postgraduate Studies from Bristol. Aly accepts private referrals from many dental practices to provide treatment under conscious sedation. She attends numerous post graduate courses to further her knowledge and keep up to date with current sedation techniques. Aly teaches student dental nurses at Salisbury College and is a popular speaker amongst her profession- this year lecturing at the British Dental Association seminars and The World Aesthetic Congress.

Patricia Thresh BDS 1989, MFGDP (UK), DPDS – Associate Dentist.

graduated in dentistry from Bristol University. She has obtained the Membership examination from The Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, (FGDP) Royal College of Surgeons, England, a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies from Bristol University, a Certificate in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from UCL and a Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Currently she is preparing for the Fellowship exam of the FGDP and the Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice. Whilst continuing to acquire further postgraduate qualifications Patricia focuses on offering relaxing pain-free dental care and developing her skills in aesthetic dentistry. She is a gold member of the British Dental Bleaching Society.

Liz Kemp BDS 2001- Associate Dentist

qualified in Cardiff, University Hospital of Wales. Following graduation, Liz joined the British Army with whom she served for 7 years before leaving as a Major in 2009. Liz has a special interest in hypnosis and homeopathy and is also qualified in botox and dermal fillers. She also attends regular postgraduate courses to ensure she keeps up to date with new techniques and materials.

Ian Downie BDS 1983, FDSRCS(Ed), BM, FRCS (OMFS)- Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

after studying dentistry in Liverpool and a wide variety of jobs around that city Ian migrated to the warmer climate of the south coast. Following further experience in Oral Surgery in Salisbury and Southampton he trained in General Surgery then completed specialist training. After 20 years of exams he was delighted to be appointed in Salisbury. Ian is happy to provide a consultation on dentoalveolar surgery, oral medicine and implantology here at the practice and if necessary carry out procedures under local anaesthesia. Alternatively if a general anaesthetic is needed, treatment can be organised at Salisbury District Hospital or New Hall Hospital.

Amanda Brazier, EDH Hygienist

qualified in Aldershot whilst serving in the Royal Air Force. Since leaving in 2006 she has worked in both NHS and private dental practices. She is very experienced and extremely gentle using the latest technology in the prevention and treatment of gum disease./p>

studied management at the British Dental Association (BDA) Wimpole Street, London. Having gained experience in 2 other private practices she was able to play a major part in creating our dream practice. She was awarded “Practice manager of the year” in 2005. Natasha is a BDA Good Practice Scheme Regional Consultant and is in demand as a speaker lecturing at The World Aesthetic Congress and BDA seminars.
